Born in 1974, I grew up in the wild heart of Mpumalanga, South Africa, where the untamed beauty of places like Kruger National Park wasn’t just a backdrop – it was my playground. The vast veldt, with its raw power and untamed spirit, shaped my imagination and taught me that survival is never guaranteed, but always worth fighting for. My love for this country and its people runs deep – South Africa’s soul, from its rugged landscapes to its resilient hearts, is the pulse of my stories.

After serving in the South African National Defence Force, I carved out a career in IT, diving into the murky waters of security-related tech. Countless nights on stakeouts introduced me to the criminal underworld but also forged tight bonds with everyone from CEOs of major security firms to the often overlooked guards on the front lines. Spend enough time with people, and you realize we’re more alike than different – our fears, hopes, and fight for a better tomorrow unite us. Those connections fuel the high-octane worlds I create, where every choice could be your last.
